SCROOMS locations are progression spaces, not just different backdrops. Songkeeper’s Grove teaches the catch loop and contains the Ocarina and Songtreads chains. Bluestone Caverns begins after a movement check. Later region names appear through official Index-completion badges and current community Index readings, but public route documentation is not equally complete for every area.

Use this hub to identify the region, the barrier in front of it, and the page that has enough evidence to guide you. The map is a route index rather than an invented overhead image, so it can stay useful when paths or labels change.

Early route at a glance

1. Songkeeper’s Grove

Starting area. Learn catching with Leo, follow Halden for the Ocarina, and meet Shax for Songtreads. The official Grovewalker badge confirms an Index completion goal here.

Plan the Grove route

2. Bluestone Approach

Transition path between the forest and caverns. The important check is the wide gap: activate Songtreads, build full running speed, and jump at the edge.

Unlock Songtreads

3. Bluestone Caverns

First documented post-Grove region. Meet Marina after landing and keep the creature named by the current introduction quest.

Later area names with public support

Official badges name Sorin’s Respite, Sanctum Magus, and Tall Trees through their respective Index completion goals. Current community Index lists also show later-area creature groups, including a label Grave of the Gilded. Because the public sources do not clearly prove that Tall Trees and Grave of the Gilded are the same current tab, this guide keeps both labels distinct.

Treat the name in your live Index and Quest Log as authoritative. Do not take a creature listed under one community area and assume it can be found under the other label. The Scrooms list preserves the same separation and marks unresolved entries instead of filling them by guesswork.

How to navigate without a complete overhead map

Select the active quest and read its next action, not only the quest title. Use NPCs, terrain changes, campfires, statues, gates, and named transition paths as landmarks. If a marker disappears after a teleport or reset, reopen the Quest Log and reselect the step.

At a locked route, identify the type of barrier. A statue sequence points to the Ocarina. A long horizontal gap at Bluestone Approach points to Songtreads speed. A target frequency outside your instrument’s card points to catching equipment, not movement gear. Solving the correct system is faster than searching for an unreported alternate path.

Open the Index when entering a new region. The area page helps confirm that the transition registered and gives you silhouettes, rarity, and frequency clues. If the tab remains hidden, finish the entrance quest or walk farther into the region before treating it as a bug.

Area cards and completion

An area’s Index completion can include base species and additional tone progress. Catching every obvious silhouette once may leave the percentage below full. Select each discovered card and inspect whether Harmonic or Resonant slots remain.

Official badges support complete-Index goals for Songkeeper’s Grove, Bluestone Caverns, Sorin’s Respite, Sanctum Magus, and Tall Trees. They do not publish each current creature name, spawn point, frequency, or required route. Community Index readings fill part of that detail, with the live server remaining the final check.

Prepare before changing regions

Finish nearby turn-ins, free inventory space, and keep any named quest creature. Inspect the equipped catching instrument and movement item separately. Songtreads help cross terrain but do not extend a lute or guitar’s frequency reach.

After entering, speak with the closest progression NPC before selling a new catch. The first quest may request a local species. Open the Index to record the region’s page, then build a small circuit around safe landmarks before exploring the edges.

If a later path looks unreachable, do not assume a secret jump. Check the Quest Log for a named tool or NPC and review unclaimed reward dialogues. SCROOMS commonly makes the progression requirement explicit through a quest even when the physical barrier is visible earlier.

Recover from common navigation problems

The marker points through terrain. Reselect the quest, return to the last named NPC, and follow the normal path until the marker updates. A direct line is not always the walkable route.

The next area does not register. Cross fully into the new terrain, finish the entrance conversation, and inspect the Index tab. Resetting on the boundary can place you back before the trigger.

A gap remains impossible. Confirm the correct movement reward is equipped and active. For Bluestone, use full Songtreads speed and a running jump; the first crossing does not require the later double-jump upgrade in current guides.

Two guides use different area names. Follow the label displayed by your current Index. Keep Tall Trees and Grave of the Gilded separate until the game or stronger evidence maps them explicitly.

Check date and scope

Area names backed by official badges and the opening Grove-to-Bluestone route were checked on October 24, 2026. This hub does not fabricate a coordinate map or unsupported fast-travel system. After a new update, verify the live Quest Log, Index tab labels, and the Updates page before relying on a community route.
